Andrews Accounting and Tax Service wants everyone dealing with a tax problem to be able to read this site, understand their options and reach us, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.

Our commitment
Andrews Accounting and Tax Service helps taxpayers and small business owners in Western New York resolve IRS and New York State tax problems. People often come to us at a stressful moment, so this website should never add to it. Everyone should be able to read about their options and ask for a free consultation, using a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or a phone.
Accessibility is treated as ongoing work, and this website is reviewed whenever its content or design changes.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements that help make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. This website is designed and built with the intent to conform to WCAG 2.2 at Level AA.
It has been reviewed by the people who built it, using automated checks and manual testing with a keyboard and at screen sizes from 320 pixels wide upward. It has not yet been audited by an independent third party, so it is described as intended to conform rather than fully conformant.
What has been done
- Text and interface colors meet at least 4.5:1 contrast for body text and 3:1 for large text, form fields and controls.
- A logical heading structure, page landmarks and a “Skip to main content” link on every page.
- Every link, button, question and form field works with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline. The menu closes with the Escape key.
- The frequently asked questions announce whether they are open or closed.
- Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked in text, and errors are described in words next to the field they belong to. There is no CAPTCHA or puzzle to solve.
- Tax terms such as “Offer in Compromise” and “Enrolled Agent” are explained in plain language where they appear.
- Meaningful images have text alternatives; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Controls are sized for touch, and the layout reflows to a single column down to 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
- No audio or video plays on its own. Smooth scrolling, scroll-linked effects and entrance animations switch off when your device asks for reduced motion.
